MAPA Member Highlight - Aaron Browne, PA-C

Congratulations to Aaron Browne, PA-C who recently became the System Director of Advanced Practice Providers at M Health Fairview and M Physicians. In this role he provides leadership, strategic planning, and vision for APPs across the system by building relationships with leaders and key stakeholders across the organization.  He functions as the primary resource regarding recruitment, retention, scope of practice, utilization and collaborative practice models, credentialing, orientation and onboarding, competency, professional development, compliance, and student placement.

Aaron has over 20 years of experience in healthcare.  He has worked clinically in Emergency Medicine/Urgent Care and has worked in a variety of healthcare settings and in the healthcare consulting space.  Most recently, Aaron worked with Premier Healthcare in their Physician Enterprise Advisory solution helping physician medical groups with performance improvement engagements.  He has experience with project management, process improvement, provider engagement, team and organizational development, clinical informatics, and technology optimization.

Aaron is a fellow member of the Minnesota Academy of Physician Assistants where he has held various roles with the organization including chairing committees, workgroups, HOD representation, and legislative assistance.  He is also a fellow member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants where he has served in roles as the chair of the national EHR workgroup.
