Are you a student interested in becoming a leader in your profession?  Are you looking to amplify your voice and learn how to make a difference as an advocate for your patients and your profession?  Take a look at AAPA's Leadership and Advocacy Summit.  The Summit will be held on September 18 - 20, 2025 at the Ritz-Carlton in Alexandria, VA.  

One key goal of the summit is to help you strengthen your advocacy and leadership skills and stay up to date on the latest issues. Leaders and colleagues will share their insights on key developments facing the profession, association management, leadership best practices, and advocacy skill-building. Breakout sessions will feature three tracks: Emerging Advocates, Association Leadership Best Practices, and Advanced Advocacy Tactics.

Prerequisites:

• PA student is an active MAPA member (of note a current student can apply even if graduating prior to the actual LAS conference).
• PA student with a commitment to leadership and advocacy on behalf of the profession.
• Available and willing to attend AAPA's Leadership and Advocacy Summit (September 18th - 20th 2025).
