November is National Hospice and Palliative Care Month. Hospice is not a place but is high-quality care that enables patients and families to focus on living as fully as possible despite a life-limiting illness. Palliative care brings this holistic model of care to people earlier in the course of a serious illness.

CaringInfo, a program of the National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization, provides free resources to help people make decisions about end-of-life care and services before a crisis.

The mission of the Minnesota Network of Hospice and Palliative Care is to ensure that everyone has the help they need to live and die according to their wishes. They do this through education and advocacy around serious illness and end-of-life care.
