PA of the Year

The PA of the Year represents the highest ideals of the profession, including caring, comprehensive medical service and involvement in the community. Any PA who practices in the state of MN is eligible to receive this award. Anyone is eligible to provide a nomination.

Preceptor/Mentor of the Year

The Preceptor/Mentor of the Year is a PA who has been instrumental in supporting the professional growth of another individual within the previous 12 months. Pre-PAs, PA Students, practicing PAs, and other colleagues are eligible to provide a nomination.

PA Advocacy Award
Minnesota PAs have worked diligently for social change and progress in areas such as legislation, diversity and inclusion, meeting the needs of underserved communities, equity, or social justice. This award has been created to recognize contributions to the profession and the community at large in such areas. Nominees shall have demonstrated advocacy through their work as a PA or outside of the workplace in any of these diverse areas.

Past President's Award

The Past President’s Award will annually be awarded to an individual whose contributions to the profession and/or MAPA, as recognized by the immediate past president, have been exceptional.
