June is Migraine and Headache Awareness Month

 

One of the most common headaches is tension-type headaches which many people experience while working from home. Take regular breaks from typing and stretch your neck and shoulders. This will help prevent added tension in your neck and head.  If you start to experience recurrent headaches, please follow up with your primary care provider for further evaluation and treatment.

 

Migraine headaches are the second most common, affecting up to 12% of people.  You or someone you know may suffer from recurrent migraines and headaches.  There are many exciting new treatments in migraine management that can vastly improve your quality of life.  Schedule an appointment with your primary care provider today to start the road of migraine and headache treatment and prevention.
