Suturing Workshop - Advanced (Practicing PAs Only)

The MAPA advanced suturing workshop is an interactive CME session targeted towards practicing PAs with basic suturing skills who have an interest in advancing their suture techniques with guidance by practicing surgeons and surgical residents. Skills will be focused on complicated wound closures, tension distribution, running subcuticular sutures, and aesthetic plastic techniques.

The MAPA basic suturing workshop is an interactive CME session targeted to PAs with limited experience in suturing or PA students. The basic suturing workshop will cover the fundamentals of selecting and handling tools, loading of the needle, local anesthesia, and basic suturing techniques.
